The world’s largest animal, the blue whale, can be seen in the waters around Mirissa during
certain seasons. It is one of the few sites on Earth where snorkeling with these magnificent
animals is allowed. With a maximum number of 10 participants, this small-group experience
gives you an excellent opportunity to swim with these untamed creatures. Snacks, bottled
water, snorkeling equipment, and tuk-tuk pickup from hotels in the Mirissa region are all
included in your package.
The opportunity to swim with whales is a privilege. The act of swimming with whales is an
art. Every day is different on the water, and every encounter is unique. We swim with whales
most days, but on some days this may only be briefly. Other days we swim for longer
periods.8
